We were invited to the Wayne Norman Radio Show on WILI. We discussed our book, ‘A Journey to the Gallows’ and the pardon we have submitted to Virginia on behalf of Aaron Dwight Stevens. Wayne’s main interest was the status of the pardon.

We will be presenting at the West Haven Vet Center to speak on our first book, ‘A Journey to the Gallows’ at 8:30 a.m. We hope to see you there to discuss the life of Aaron Dwight Stevens, his role as an abolitionist and the pardon that has been submitted to the Commonwealth of Virginia over 18 months ago.

We will be at the New London Library from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. We will be displaying our two books, ‘A Journey to the Gallows’ and ‘In the Crossfire Between Heaven and Hell.’

We will be presenting at the Rose City Senior Center to speak to the Veteran’s Coffee House members. Our presentation will cover our book, “A Journey to the Gallows” and the book’s main character, Aaron Dwight Stevens. Vic and I with local State representatives and Norwich’s City administration have filed a petition for a pardon of Stevens with the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Governor. To date, we have waited 20 months for a response from the Governor’s Office.

We were scheduled to present at the Thames Valley Regional Community College, the story of the Sultana, a steamboat which sank just after the Civil War carrying Union Soldiers home from southern prison camps. It was the worst maritime tragedy in U.S. Maritime history but little is known due to the fact the sinking happened the same week as Lincoln’s assassination.
